Sebastian Villa returns to Boca Juniors, aiming to silence critics

Colombian winger Sebastián Villa rejoined Boca Juniors for a second spell, despite vocal opposition from a portion of the club’s supporters. At 30, Villa is noted for his explosive pace on the flanks and intends to let his performances on the pitch address the criticism.

His first test back will come on 23 July in the Copa Sudamericana against O Higgins, where Boca hopes his speed can help the team secure titles and shift the narrative surrounding his return.
