Sebastian Witkowski sets historic record on ‘Jeden z dziesięciu’

Sebastian Witkowski has set a historic record on the Polish television game show ‘Jeden z dziesięciu’ (One of Ten). In the grand finale of the 155th edition aired on October 5, Witkowski became the first participant in the program's 30-year history to surpass the 1,000-point threshold, achieving a total of 1,016 points.

Witkowski had previously demonstrated exceptional skill during an episode aired on September 16, where he secured a high score. During the final, despite missing the first three questions, he dominated the competition by answering subsequent questions himself, earning 673 points in that segment alone.

In an interview with TVP, Witkowski noted that he did not immediately realize the magnitude of his achievement until a production staff member informed him. He attributed his success to a combination of memory and knowledge, while also noting the role of luck regarding when difficult questions appeared during the elimination rounds.
