Sebastiano Di Luciano re‑appointed captain of Italy’s Circolo Canottieri Ortigia for 2026‑27 season

Sebastiano “Seby” Di Luciano has been confirmed as captain of the water‑polo club Circolo Canottieri Ortigia for the 2026‑27 season. The Siracusan forward, who has spent his entire career with Ortigia, will work under new coach Koljanin and pledge his experience to the squad, especially the incoming players.

Last season Di Luciano scored 23 goals, including two in the play‑out semifinals against Telimar, helping Ortigia secure its place in the league. He said he is “very happy to be part of the family again and will do everything to bring the right blend to the team.” The club wishes him a successful season and aims for both personal and collective objectives.
