Sebastiano Esposito receives first Italy national team call-up

Sebastiano Esposito has received his first call-up to the Italian senior national football team, marking a significant milestone for both the player and his club, Sassuolo. This represents the first time a Sassuolo player has been included in an official national team squad since Domenico Berardi's appearance in November 2023.

Esposito's agent, Mario Giuffredi, commented on the player's career trajectory, noting that while a move to Napoli was considered during the transfer window, the decision to join Sassuolo proved beneficial for his development. Giuffredi described the move to Sassuolo as the best choice for the striker, following his strong start with the club.
