Sebastien Ogier Wins Acropolis Rally in Greece

Sebastien Ogier secured his 69th World Rally Championship victory by winning the Acropolis Rally in Greece, his second triumph on the demanding Crete stages. Driving a Toyota, he finished 58.3 seconds ahead of Belgian challenger Thierry Neuville, who suffered a puncture in the penultimate loop, and 3:04.8 ahead of fellow Toyota driver Takamoto Katsuta.

The win also gave Ogier the Power and Super stages, putting him back into contention for the 2026 title as he moved to third in the overall standings, 33 points off the lead. He said, "This was an extremely tough weekend – there was not a minute to rest. I drove carefully, trying to avoid every stone. The Greek gods finally helped me," and added, "It was the perfect weekend we needed for our championship."

Ogier’s next challenge will be the upcoming Rally Estonia, scheduled for 17‑19 July.
