Sebastián Castella concludes successful 2026 European season

Matador Sebastián Castella has concluded his 2026 European season following a final performance in Zaragoza. The season was characterized by significant artistic maturity and consistent success across various bullrings.

A major highlight occurred in May at Las Ventas in Madrid, where a high-intensity performance against the bull Cantaor nearly secured the ‘Puerta Grande’. Other notable achievements included a triumph in Granada, success in Istres, and record-breaking performances in Nimes, where he surpassed 100 ears cut.

Castella’s statistical balance for the 2026 campaign includes 46 bullfights, 73 ears, and one tail. His season spanned numerous locations in both Spain and France, including Béziers, San Sebastián, Bilbao, and Albacete.
