Sebastián Jiménez reports 400 million peso fraud at SocialAst

Sebastián ‘Lindorfo’ Jiménez, a well-known veterinarian and media figure, has reported a fraud exceeding 400 million Chilean pesos within his company, SocialAst. The victim alleges that the embezzlement was carried out by the company’s finance chief, Jimena Aracena, and the firm’s accountant, Cristián Bravo, who is also Aracena’s partner.

The fraudulent scheme involved making bank transfers that simulated payments to various suppliers. However, investigations revealed that the tax IDs (RUT) associated with these transactions did not belong to legitimate companies, but to individuals directly linked to the accused. This caused significant operational issues, as SocialAst lost over 180 suppliers due to non-payment.

Jiménez stated that the financial impact has been devastating, leaving him with nothing. He noted that the investigation began around October or November 2025 and is currently ongoing. He also mentioned that the accused individuals have previously been formalized in a separate legal case involving another company.
