Sebastián Jurado apologizes to FC Juárez fans amid poor season

Sebastián Jurado, captain and goalkeeper for FC Juárez, has issued a formal apology to the club's supporters following a series of poor results in the Apertura 2026 tournament. The apology follows a significant 5-0 defeat against Cruz Azul at the Estadio Azteca, which has left the team at the bottom of the Liga MX standings.

In a video released by the club, Jurado expressed that the team has failed to meet expectations and represent the values of the institution. He noted that the squad has accumulated only four points from a possible 36, recording one win, one draw, and 10 losses in 12 matches. Jurado emphasized that the message was a sincere reflection of the feelings shared by the players, coaching staff, and management.

Addressing the fans' continued support both at home and during away matches, the captain acknowledged that the team's performance on the pitch has been insufficient. He pledged a total commitment to improve during the remaining five matchdays to better represent the city of Juárez.
