Sebastián Pareja backs Diego Santilli for Buenos Aires governorship

Sebastián Pareja, a key political organizer for La Libertad Avanza and a close associate of Karina Milei, has reaffirmed his support for Diego Santilli as the current preferred candidate for the governorship of Buenos Aires Province.

In a recent interview, Pareja declined to enter the race for the governorship himself, stating that while political leaders should have growth aspirations, they must also recognize when to step aside for others. He compared political leadership to professional football, suggesting that just as players eventually transition from the field to management roles, politicians should know when to move into supporting roles rather than seeking primary candidacy.

Pareja emphasized that he intends to follow the political instructions set by President Milei, noting that his primary objective since January has been to secure a victory for the party in the Buenos Aires Province. He stated that he does not wish to create internal disputes within La Libertad Avanza that could distract from their electoral goals.
