Seborga celebrates 30 years of independence with new coin

Seborga celebrated the 30th anniversary of its independence proclamation, an event marking the 1996 declaration by Prince Giorgio I. To commemorate the milestone, a new 2 luigini coin was presented.

Despite initial delays due to bad weather, the festivities included religious services at San Martino and San Bernardo churches, accompanied by the Ventimiglia Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. The celebrations featured a traditional cannon salute, an artisanal market, and a community dinner. Princess Nina participated in the events, which also drew interest from the Belgian national broadcaster RTBF for an upcoming reportage.
