Sebrae Journalism Award announces state-level winners in Brazil
The 13th Sebrae Journalism Award has announced its state-level winners in Brazil, celebrating reporting that highlights the role of small businesses in economic development.
In Pará, reporters Luciana Araújo and Kauã Fhillipe from Correio de Carajás secured first place in the audio category for their series “Quando uma mulher empreende: o impacto do empreendedorismo feminino em Marabá”. The report focuses on the impact of female entrepreneurship in peripheral neighborhoods.
In Ceará, the state-level ceremony recognized winners across multiple categories. Luciano Rodrigues of Diário do Nordeste won first place in the Text category for “Negócios da Madrugada”. The Audio category winner was the team from Rádio Fortaleza FM 90,7, while TV Verdes Mares took first in Video for the report “Mães atípicas: entre o cuidar e o empreender”. Winners from these state stages will advance to regional and national competitions.
