The Southeastern Conference (SEC) has released the women's basketball league schedule for the 2026-27 season. The 16-team league format features eight home and eight road games for each program, with teams playing every opponent once and one opponent twice in a home-and-home series.
Auburn will begin conference play on New Year’s Eve against LSU at Neville Arena. Their home-and-home opponent for the season is LSU. Other notable home games for the Tigers include matchups against Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Arkansas. The SEC Tournament is scheduled to take place from March 3-7 in Greenville, South Carolina.
Alabama will open its conference slate on New Year’s Eve with a road game against South Carolina. Under first-year head coach Pauline Love, the Crimson Tide will host eight SEC opponents at Coleman Coliseum, including Georgia, Florida, LSU, Missouri, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M. The matchup against Auburn on February 7 is highlighted as the ‘Iron Bowl of women's basketball’.
