SEC Nigeria admits Blockchain to regulatory incubation programme
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has admitted BC Access Nigeria Limited (Blockchain) into its Accelerated Regulatory Incubation Programme (ARIP). This admission allows the company to operate within a defined sandbox scope to help the Commission evaluate digital asset business models and develop long-term regulatory frameworks.
Through the ARIP, the company will work directly with the SEC to test appropriate safeguards and contribute to a regulated digital asset ecosystem in Nigeria, which is considered one of Africa’s most significant markets for digital assets.
