Secihti and Canifarma partner to advance pharmaceutical technology

The Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (Secihti) and the National Chamber of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry (Canifarma) have signed a Framework Collaboration Agreement. The partnership aims to drive joint scientific research, technological development, and innovation to strengthen Mexico's national pharmaceutical capabilities and address domestic health challenges.

Rosaura Ruiz Gutiérrez, head of Secihti, emphasized that the agreement seeks to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and industrial application. A key component of the collaboration includes promoting dual education, allowing undergraduate and graduate students to participate in practical industry projects to foster professional talent.
