Second Career Co., Ltd. signs 10 next-generation MMA fighters

Second Career Co., Ltd., an athlete management firm based in Shibuya, Tokyo, has signed exclusive management and comprehensive partnership agreements with 10 next-generation mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters.

The initiative aims to build a sustainable ecosystem for combat sports by providing comprehensive support, including training environments, promotion, career design, and financial stability. The company intends to bridge the gap between Japanese fighters and the global stage, utilizing its experience managing top athletes such as boxer Naoya Inoue and MMA fighter Tatsuro Taira.

The group of 10 includes two established fighters, Rei Tsuruya and Takeru Uchida, alongside eight rising prospects. The project follows an ‘Athlete First’ philosophy to maximize the social and economic value of young talents.
