Second Chance Schools in Greece host community integration events

Second Chance Schools in Kastoria and Xiromero have launched their new academic terms through series of community-building activities and workshops designed to integrate new students.

In Kastoria, the school held welcoming days from October 1 to October 6, 2026. The program included experiential activities and games to help new students from the first cycle meet their peers and instructors. Older students participated in a solidarity initiative, welcoming newcomers with greeting cards and school supplies to foster a supportive learning environment.

In Xiromero, a three-day program focused on communication and social boundaries. Activities included presentations on effective human interaction and workshops on establishing personal boundaries and mutual respect. The sessions aimed to create a safe learning environment through a shared learning contract based on responsibility and acceptance.
