Second Street to open two large-scale reuse stores in Kawasaki and Fukuoka

Geo Holdings subsidiary Second Street is set to expand its presence in Japan with the opening of two major Super Second Street locations on August 21, 2026.

In Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, the Super Second Street Market Square Kawasaki East store will become the largest in the entire company, boasting a floor area of over 1,033 tsubo (approximately 3,414 square meters). The store aims to capture the local market by offering around 100,000 items, including apparel, luxury goods, furniture, and electronics.

In Fukuoka City, the Super Second Street Wajiro store will be the largest reuse shop in the Kyushu region. This location, which relocates and significantly expands the existing Wajiro store from 139 tsubo to 680 tsubo (approximately 2,248 square meters), will also feature approximately 100,000 items. Notably, this branch will serve as an enhanced musical instrument store, featuring specialized staff and dedicated counters for customer consultations.
