Seconda Categoria football returns to Vibo Valentia province

The Seconda Categoria football championship in Italy is set to begin on October 11, featuring a highly localized Group D composed of twelve teams from the Vibo Valentia province. This grouping marks a return to a nearly entirely provincial tournament structure.

Key contenders include Zungrese, led by coach Giuseppe Barbieri and sporting director Salvatore Fazzari. Newly promoted teams Fulmine Sorianello and Maierato are also expected to be competitive following their success in the Terza Categoria.
