Second‑Round Secondary School Exams Scheduled for August 2026 in Kuwait and Egypt

The Kuwait Ministry of Education announced that the second‑round examinations for the 2025‑2026 secondary school year will begin on Saturday, 22 August 2026. The exams are intended for students who failed one or two subjects in the first round or who missed the first session with an accepted excuse. Successful candidates receive 50 % of the subject score, while those with a valid excuse obtain full marks. An appeal period for exam results runs from 30 July to 13 August, with a fee of 300 Egyptian pounds per subject.

Egypt’s Al‑Azhar educational authority released its schedule for the second‑round of the secondary certificate, set to start on 18 August 2026. The scientific track will test applied mathematics and the Qur'an, while the literary track will examine a first foreign language and Hadith. Sheikh Ayman Abdel Ghani emphasized the commitment to fairness and equal opportunity in the exam process.
