Secret military base and airport revealed near Bab al-Mandeb

Footage and reports have revealed the existence of a secret military base and airport located in the Dhubab District, near the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait in Yemen. The facility, reportedly established during the presence of Saudi-aligned forces, features a runway, a modern control tower, and large aircraft hangars constructed from reinforced steel and concrete.

Investigations indicate the base includes extensive fortifications, such as underground headquarters, tunnels, and shelters camouflaged with thick layers of soil to evade satellite detection. A network of roads, including a recently paved line between Al-Mokha and Dhubab, was reportedly designed to connect various strategic military sites and command centers along the western coast.

Following the takeover of the area by Yemeni armed forces, reports claim that several officers, including Saudi nationals, fled the site via helicopter. The scale of the installations highlights a significant military presence in a region critical to international maritime security.
