Secret Service officials suspended amid leak probe as Trump attends IndyCar race

The United States Secret Service has suspended three non-law enforcement officials, including communications director Anthony Guglielmi, pending an investigation into potential misconduct. The officials have been stripped of their security clearances and designated ‘do not admit’ to agency facilities. The probe, which reportedly involves the FBI and CIA, is investigating how sensitive or classified information may have been leaked to the media.

Separately, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump attended the Freedom 250 Grand Prix in Washington, D.C. The event, held on a street circuit surrounding the National Mall, was largely funded by the Penske Corporation. The appearance drew criticism from Senator Adam Schiff, who accused the administration of using taxpayer money for personal promotion and distraction from economic issues. However, racing veteran Graham Rahal countered these claims, noting that the event was privately funded and intended as a patriotic celebration.
