Secret Story 2026 faces audience drop and nomination controversy

The fourteenth season of the French reality show Secret Story debuted on 23 June 2026 on TMC after moving from TFX. The launch prime attracted about 639 000 viewers (10 % share). Within days the programme’s audience fell sharply: a daily episode on 29 June drew only 185 000 viewers (2.5 % share) on TMC, and the rediffusion on TFX, aired opposite a World Cup match, recorded just 74 000 viewers (0.4 % share).

The season’s nomination process has placed five contestants—Paola, Lou, Malo, Maguette and Simon—in jeopardy for the first elimination. A poll by Stars Actu shows Paola leading with 48.5 % of votes, while Simon trails at 7.6 %.

Separately, the show’s host “La Voix” warned contestants that confidential dossiers containing personal information have been discovered, raising concerns about privacy and game strategy. A separate report noted a romantic overture by contestant Léonie towards fellow participant Azad.
