Secretaría de Educación y Deporte (SEyD) Calls for School Participation in September Civic-Military Parade and for Prof­

The State Government, through the Secretaría de Educación y Deporte (SEyD), has invited basic, middle‑high and higher‑education institutions, as well as civil organizations and government agencies, to join the traditional Civic‑Military Parade scheduled for 16 September at 10:30 a.m. in Chihuahua. Registrations close on 9 September, with a mandatory briefing on 11 September for group leaders. Participating school contingents must field 64‑80 students in specified formations and will be evaluated at multiple checkpoints.

Separately, SEyD’s Direction of State Professions is urging civil professional associations to register officially. Registration grants legal recognition, institutional backing, and access to certification, training, and networking opportunities, strengthening the groups’ ability to defend members’ rights and influence community initiatives.
