Secretariat of Personnel Management to use AI for 2026 career growth

The Secretariat of Personnel Management (SMGP) is preparing the 2026 Horizontal Growth procedure, which will incorporate artificial intelligence for the first time. This technological integration aims to accelerate career progression stages, reduce analysis time by commissions, and increase the precision of results.

Under this procedure, active civil servants who have completed their probationary period will compete for career advancement. Successful candidates will move up the salary scale, receiving a 2.8% increase. Technical systems for this implementation are currently in the final stages of development.
