Sector 1 City Hall fruit market and AgroMaramureș fair showcase Romanian produce

The Sector 1 City Hall in Bucharest organized a weekend event called “Parfum de livadă” at Piața Matache, featuring seasonal Romanian fruits such as peaches and apricots, street‑food stalls, workshops (pottery, wooden‑spoon painting, face painting), chess activities with the Romanian Chess Federation, and live performances by Călin and Band and Alessandro Mucea. The programme also included a vintage “Peach Car” display and an outdoor film screening of “I love to hate you”.

In the Maramureș region, the first edition of the AgroMaramureș fair took place in the commune of Mireșul Mare on 22‑23 August. Organized with the support of the Maramureș Entrepreneurs Association, the event offered conferences and workshops on agricultural digitalisation, clusters, agro‑hubs, phytosanitary issues and financing, as well as an exhibition of livestock and farm machinery. A special market highlighted local and traditional products under the relaunched “Bun de Maramureș” brand, representing more than 50 agro‑food items from regional farmers and entrepreneurs.
