Sector 3 City Hall to relocate headquarters to Hala Laminor

The Sector 3 City Hall in Bucharest is relocating its central headquarters and several subordinate institutions to the Hala Laminor industrial site. Mayor Robert Negoiță announced that the move is expected to begin as early as next week, aiming to consolidate various administrative services under one roof to improve citizen access.

The relocation includes the General Directorate for Social Assistance and Child Protection (DGASPC), the General Directorate of Local Taxes and Duties (DGITL), the population registry, and the local police. The project involves occupying over 19,000 square meters of space through 30-year loan-for-use contracts. While some areas, such as the traffic brigade headquarters, are still undergoing final preparations, the goal is to have all primary services centralized.

The former city hall building on Dudești Road will be repurposed into an educational facility, specifically to house General School no. 80, as part of a broader plan to convert vacated administrative buildings into schools.
