Secunet, Red Hat, and Nvidia partner for classified AI cloud
Secunet, Red Hat, Deepset, and Nvidia have announced a collaboration to develop an AI cloud environment designed for handling classified information. The project aims to provide a Runtime as a Service within German data centers, allowing government agencies and organizations with high security requirements to utilize AI applications without building their own protective architectures.
The technical foundation relies on Secunet’s SINACloud, with security functions intended to run on hardware-isolated Nvidia BlueField-3 DPUs to support data processing according to classified information instructions. Red Hat will contribute a platform for containerized operations via its AI Factory, integrating Nvidia infrastructure and open Nemotron models.
The service is not yet ready for deployment. Its availability is subject to successful integration, testing, validation, and the completion of necessary regulatory approval and clearance procedures.
