Securitize launches 12 tokenized U.S. stocks on Solana

Securitize has introduced 12 tokenized U.S. stocks on the Solana blockchain, including major companies such as Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Netflix, and Palantir.

Each token is backed 1:1 by underlying shares held in custody and is not a synthetic derivative or a contract for difference. The structure ensures that tokens carry security rights and economic entitlements, such as dividends, rather than just price exposure.

Trading is conducted using USDC through Securitize’s regulated broker-dealer platform, allowing eligible investors in the U.S., EU, and other permitted jurisdictions to hold tokens in authorized Solana wallets. While currently available 24/5, the company aims to expand trading to a 24/7 schedule. The move utilizes blockchain settlement to provide faster, lower-cost transactions compared to traditional settlement processes.
