Security and History Dialogue 2026 conference opens in Riyadh

The Security and History Dialogue 2026 conference commenced in Riyadh, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Interior under the patronage of Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz. Running from September 6 to 8, the event is themed ‘Our History and Our Future: Security and Growth.’

The conference features over 160 speakers from within Saudi Arabia and abroad, with more than 65 dialogue sessions and interactive meetings involving over 30 entities. It is expected to attract more than 5,000 visitors. The program serves as a national platform to review Saudi Arabia’s journey in security and development, examining transformations across politics, economy, society, culture, and international relations.

Over the three-day period, discussions will cover topics including the roots of the state, the role of the founding King, security and investment, digital national awareness, regional and global peace, and the impact of artificial intelligence on future security. The event also includes the ‘Security Path,’ an interactive experience showcasing over 300 years of the Saudi state’s security evolution.
