Security enhancements reported in Chubut and Buenos Aires

In Chubut, the Ministry of Security and Justice reported that the use of the Federal Police Communications System (SIFCOP) led to the location of 98 individuals with active judicial warrants and the recovery of 27 stolen vehicles between January and October 2026. These results stemmed from 125 interventions across 12 localities, utilizing real-time data for capture orders and vehicle seizures.

In the City of Buenos Aires, the administration of Jorge Macri announced the addition of 775 vehicles to the police fleet, including patrol cars, motorcycles, and trucks. The expansion also includes the incorporation of over 6,800 officers during the current administration. Recent equipment deliveries featured Toyota Corolla vehicles, Kawasaki motorcycles, and Nissan trucks, alongside 7,000 bulletproof vests equipped with geolocation technology.
