Security forces honored during Soldier's Day celebrations

Various tributes were held to honor security forces in observance of Soldier's Day on August 25.

In one event, Major Barbosa, commander of the 87th Independent Military Police Company (CIPM), commended his officers for their commitment to protecting lives and maintaining public order. He emphasized that the role involves significant risks and expressed pride in the discipline and professionalism of his personnel, while also acknowledging the support of their families.

In São Paulo, the Universal Chaplaincy in Police Forces (UFP) held a ceremony at the Temple of Solomon led by Bishop Renato Cardoso. The event honored over one thousand professionals from the Armed Forces, including the Navy, Army, and Air Force, as well as various police branches, fire departments, and municipal guards. The ceremony focused on the personal and mental health challenges faced by those in security roles, offering spiritual support and religious literature to the attendees.
