Security forces in Yemen and Egypt arrest suspects in theft and exploitation cases
In Yemen, security forces in the Mureis area of Al-Dhale province arrested members of a gang responsible for stealing a businessman's bag at the Al-Jabbara market. The theft, which occurred from a vehicle, involved significant sums of money and vital personal documents, including a passport and identification cards. The suspects were apprehended within 12 hours, and the stolen items were recovered after being found hidden in the suspects' clothing.
In Egypt, authorities in Cairo arrested 11 individuals for exploiting children in begging and aggressive street vending. Ten children were identified as being at risk due to these activities. Additionally, police investigated a viral video regarding an attempted kidnapping and theft in the Ain Shams district. The investigation led to the arrest of a driver who had stolen a bag containing money from a child and physically assaulted him. The perpetrator confessed to the crime and led police to the stolen funds.
