Securonix appoints Essam Ahmed as Senior Sales Director for MEA

Securonix has appointed Essam Ahmed as the Senior Sales Director for the Middle East and Africa (MEA). In this capacity, Ahmed will oversee regional sales strategy, partner development, and customer growth, focusing on enterprise and government organizations.

Ahmed will support the adoption of Securonix Unified Defense SIEM and AI-powered security operations. His role involves working with CIOs, CISOs, and channel partners to enhance threat detection, investigation, and response amidst increasing complexities from cloud adoption and AI-enabled business processes.

With over 20 years of cybersecurity experience, Ahmed has worked across more than 30 countries. His professional background includes leadership roles at McAfee, FireEye, LogRhythm, Exabeam, and spiderSilk.
