Sedapal announces scheduled water cuts in Lima

The Lima Water and Sewerage Service (Sedapal) has announced scheduled water service interruptions across various districts in Lima on Thursday, August 27. The suspensions are part of a maintenance plan that includes reservoir cleaning, pipe splicing, and infrastructure improvements intended to ensure more efficient water distribution and service quality in the future.

Numerous residential areas and urbanizations are affected, including sectors in Collique, Villa Tacala, Vista Alegre, and various asentamientos humanos (A.H.) such as Heraud, San Roque, and Pampa Huasi. To mitigate the impact of these cuts, Sedapal has deployed water tanker trucks to distribute water to the most affected sectors. Residents are advised to manage their stored water prudently and consult official schedules to prepare for the temporary lack of service.
