Sedapal announces water service cuts in several Lima districts

Sedapal has announced scheduled water service interruptions in various districts of Lima due to maintenance and infrastructure improvement works. These interventions aim to optimize the storage and distribution systems to ensure more efficient service.

On Monday, August 31, several areas will face cuts. In Comas, specifically in P. J. El Carmen Alto and P. J. El Carmen, service is expected to be interrupted from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. due to reservoir cleaning. In San Juan de Lurigancho, multiple sectors including A. H. Upis Huáscar Gpo XII and A. H. El Rosal Alto will experience cuts from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. for similar maintenance. Pueblo Libre will also face interruptions due to pipe splicing.

To mitigate the impact, Sedapal has indicated that water tankers may be deployed to the most affected areas. Residents are advised to store water in advance and manage their consumption responsibly during these periods.
