Sedarh supports agricultural innovation projects in San Luis Potosí

The Secretariat of Agricultural Development and Hydraulic Resources (Sedarh) has announced its support for technological innovation projects developed by students and researchers at the Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM), Ciudad Valles campus. The announcement coincided with the institution's 46th anniversary.

During a visit to the campus, Sedarh official Jorge Luis Díaz Salinas reviewed several research initiatives aimed at improving agricultural productivity in San Luis Potosí. Key projects include the production of ethanol and fertilizers from organic fruit waste, grain-based pet food, and electromobility equipment for cargo.

Additional research areas include pest and disease control for plants, specifically targeting fungi and insects, as well as healthy eating proposals under the 'from the field to the table' concept. The state government has pledged to provide equipment and machinery to support the institution's ongoing research and study activities.
