Emin Olcay reveals behind-the-scenes details of Kurtlar Vadisi

Emin Olcay, the actor who played ‘Ömer Baba’ in the popular Turkish series Kurtlar Vadisi, has shared several revelations regarding the production’s history and current legal scrutiny. Olcay addressed the ongoing FETÖ investigation into the series, stating that the truth should be revealed and that those responsible should face consequences if they committed wrongs.

Olcay provided details on the sudden departure of producer Osman Sınav, describing it as unexpected and noting that Sınav handed over the production to Raci and Necati Şaşmaz. He also recalled seeing Sınav carrying a weapon for precaution during filming and mentioned meetings with an individual described as a ‘mafya ombudsman’.

Furthermore, Olcay leveled criticisms against the Şaşmaz brothers, alleging that he and his wife faced mobbing and unfair treatment, including being underpaid and having dialogue withheld. Additionally, actor Sedat Savtak has faced scrutiny over conflicting statements regarding whether his character, Kazım Kaşifoğlu, was based on the real-life Kaşif Kozinoğlu, who died in prison in 2011.
