SEDES, ASSIMAGRA and SISEMUC appoint new leadership for 2026‑2028 terms
In Portugal, the mineral resources association ASSIMAGRA held elections on 30 July for its social bodies for the 2026‑2028 mandate. Miguel Goulão (Filstone, SA) was elected to the Direction, Zélia Estêvão (EDM, SA) will preside the General Assembly Board, and Filipe Sobral (Polimagra, SA) will lead the Fiscal Council. The new mandate will operate under the slogan “Continuity that builds the future”.
Also in Portugal, the think‑tank SEDES re‑elected Álvaro Beleza as head of its Coordinating Council for the 2026‑2028 period, with council members including Carlos Alves, Catarina Delaunay, David Santos, Estela Barbot, Henrique Monteiro, João Ribeiro‑Bidaoui, Marta Costa, Miguel Poiares Maduro, Nuno Carrapatoso and Tomás Faria. In Brazil, the municipal employees’ union SISEMUC inaugurated a new management cycle that will run from September 2026 to 2031.
