SEDUMA reforests Laguna La Escondida in Reynosa

The Secretariat of Urban Development and Environment (SEDUMA) has completed the reforestation of 11,000 trees around the Laguna La Escondida natural area in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. This initiative, part of a broader recovery strategy led by Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya, was managed in coordination with the National Center for Natural Gas Control (CENAGAS).

To ensure the project's success, the planted species will receive maintenance for five years. The effort also involved educational activities for students and teachers, including symbolic tree planting and workshops on biodiversity and sustainable development. The state government is coordinating this recovery with various departments, including CONAGUA and SEMARNAT, to ensure the long-term conservation of the site.
