Seengen: Police seek suspect after assault on swimmer

Police in Seengen are searching for a suspect following a physical assault on a 62-year-old woman at an outdoor pool near Lake Hallwil. The incident occurred on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, between 10:45 and 11:15 AM.

The altercation began after the victim requested that a young man move to a different location on the sun deck. The man subsequently attacked the woman by kicking her head and body. The victim sustained abrasions and bruising and required medical examination.

The suspect is described as a man approximately 20 years old, 180 cm tall, with short black hair, speaking an Aargau dialect, and wearing blue and white striped swim trunks. Authorities are appealing to witnesses and bystanders for information.
