Seengen swimming pool assault injures 62-year-old woman
On Tuesday, 4 August 2026, a 62‑year‑old woman was attacked at the men’s pool of Seengen AG on the Hallwilersee. After returning from her swim she found a young man occupying a towel she had laid out and asked him to move. The dispute escalated and the man kicked the woman repeatedly in the head and body, causing scratches and bruises. He fled the scene, and the victim sought medical attention and filed a police report the same day.
The Kantonspolizei Aargau launched an investigation, describing the suspect as a roughly 20‑year‑old male, about 180 cm tall, with short black hair, speaking an Aargau dialect and wearing blue‑white striped swim trunks. Police are urging anyone who saw the incident or can identify the attacker to come forward as witnesses.
