SEF virtual office exceeds 104,000 users following 52% growth

The virtual office of the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) has surpassed 104,000 users, marking a 52 percent increase over the last year. Since its launch in 2023, the platform has seen steady growth, adding 35,709 users compared to the same period in 2025.

Users utilize the free digital platform to manage various employment-related tasks, such as renewing unemployment claims, obtaining duplicates, checking renewal dates, and accessing personalized reports regarding their status as job seekers. The portal also allows users to access their files, request appointments at physical offices, and view training offers.

Additionally, the office integrates ‘E-currículum’, an intermediation platform designed to connect job seekers with companies looking to fill vacancies. Luis Alberto Marín, the Counselor for Business, Employment, and Social Economy, stated that the growth demonstrates how digitalization serves as a key tool to bring administration closer to citizens.
