Sefaz-SP public service exam rescheduled for December 2026

The São Paulo State Secretariat of Finance and Planning (Sefaz-SP) has officially rescheduled the public examination for the position of Analyst in Planning, Budget, and Public Finance. Originally planned for earlier in the month, the exams are now set to take place on December 20, 2026.

The rescheduling aims to prevent scheduling conflicts with other major national selection processes, specifically the Controladoria-Geral da União (CGU) exam, which was previously set for December 13.

The competition offers 60 immediate vacancies for candidates with higher education degrees in three specialties: Public Budget and Finance, Public Accounting, and Data Science and Information Technology. The initial salary for the position is R$ 11,359.50 for a 40-hour work week.

Applications are being managed by the Fundação Carlos Chagas (FCC) and remain open until November 3, 2026. The selection process includes objective and discursive exams, as well as a title evaluation phase.
