Seferihisar launches TeosFest 2026 cultural festival

The Seferihisar Municipality opened TeosFest 2026 on August 1, with deputy mayor Fuat Gümüş presiding over a ceremony that announced a week‑long program of concerts, art exhibitions, talks, theatre performances and workshops across the district. The festival, running through August 8, aims to blend the town’s historic heritage with contemporary art, with events staged in plazas, villages and cultural centres.

On the second day, the programme featured a workshop with renowned musician Erkan Oğur, a mixed‑media exhibition by seventeen painters, a performance of the play Kuvâyi Milliye directed by Seferi Sahne Şehir Tiyatrosu, a photo exhibition on nature and resistance, a Zeybek 35th‑anniversary concert, Tai Chi demonstrations and a vocal workshop led by Aslı İpek Çağan. The festival continues to showcase music, theatre and visual arts throughout Seferihisar.
