Seff Van Kerckhove joins Visma | Lease a Bike

Belgian cycling talent Seff Van Kerckhove has signed a four-year contract with Visma | Lease a Bike. The 18-year-old rider, who previously competed for Decathlon CMA CGM, will initially join the team's development squad.

Van Kerckhove joins his older brother, Matisse Van Kerckhove, who is also part of the Visma | Lease a Bike organization. The move follows a highly successful junior season for Seff, which included victories at the Giro della Lunigiana, Classique des Alpes, and Strade Bianche for juniors, as well as winning the Belgian junior time trial championship.

The transfer comes after Van Kerckhove expressed uncertainty regarding a long-term proposal from Decathlon CMA CGM. Despite a recent injury involving broken vertebrae from a collision, the young rider cited a strong connection to the sporting vision and philosophy of the Dutch-based team as primary reasons for the move.
