SEGA announces Amigo joining Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds in September

SEGA has announced that Amigo, the mascot from the Samba de Amigo series, will join the roster of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds as free DLC on September 8, 2026. The character will include a signature vehicle designed to match his personality.

This addition is part of a September 2026 roadmap and coincides with the game’s one-year anniversary on September 25, 2026. SEGA has teased a “surprise in store” for the anniversary celebration.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds features a large roster including characters from the Sonic series and various crossover guests such as Hatsune Miku, Joker, and Ichiban Kasuga. The game’s Season Pass includes upcoming DLC waves featuring Minecraft, SpongeBob, PAC-MAN, Mega Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Avatar Legends.
