Sega announces Persona 5: The Phantom X and Persona 3 Portable collaboration

Sega has announced a collaboration between the RPG Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) and Persona 3 Portable (P3P) to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Persona series.

As part of this event, the female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable, Kotone Shiomi, will be added to P5X via an update scheduled for September 24, 2026. The character features a new 3D model and the inclusion of arranged music from Persona 3 Portable.

Additionally, starting September 15, characters from Persona 3 Reload—specifically Makoto Yuki, Yukari Takeba, and Akihiko Sanada—will return in a “PICKUP 怪ドル” (Pick-up Kai-dol) contract. Players can also access the event scenarios originally associated with these characters.
