Sega opens applications for STRANGER THAN HEAVEN theater at TGS2026

Sega has announced that pre-applications are now open for the ‘STRANGER THAN HEAVEN’ theater at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS2026). The theater, located within the Sega/Atlus booth at Makuhari Messe, will feature musical video screenings including previously unreleased tracks from the upcoming action-adventure title.

Developed by RGG Studio, the game follows the story of Makoto Daito across five eras of modern Japan. The theater screenings will offer three different programs based on specific characters. Notable performers associated with the project include Ado, Tori Kelly, and Satoshi Fujiwara of Official HIGE DANdism.

Applications for the lottery-based screenings are being accepted from August 17 to August 23, 2026. The lottery applies to screenings held during the public exhibition days from September 19 to September 21. STRANGER THAN HEAVEN is scheduled for release on January 15, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
