Sega releases Stupid Never Dies action RPG by GPTRACK50

Sega has released Stupid Never Dies, a 3D action RPG developed by the Japanese studio GPTRACK50 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. The game is a debut project from the studio, founded by veteran Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi and directed by Eiichiro Sasaki, with developers who have contributed to major franchises such as Devil May Cry, Dragon’s Dogma, and Resident Evil.

The game features a unique premise where players control Davy, a weak zombie protagonist living in a post-apocalyptic world. The narrative follows Davy’s quest to revive a frozen human woman named Julia. The gameplay combines hack-and-slash action with roguelite dungeon crawling, set against a pop-punk aesthetic reminiscent of the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Key mechanics include ‘Style Eat’, which allows Davy to transform into various monsters like Werewolves, Harpies, and Vampires to gain new combat abilities, and ‘Body Hack’, which enables players to modify Davy’s body parts using specialized equipment to enhance attributes and unlock new skills.
