SEGA releases Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DLC for Sonic Racing

SEGA announced a new downloadable content pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds that adds the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as playable characters. The DLC includes a Pizzafire Van vehicle, a New York City street circuit, and a themed soundtrack. It is priced at $5.99 for the individual pack or $29.99 for a season pass that also grants future content. The pack is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch variants.

Separately, a rumor reported on social media suggests that SEGA is developing a new 2.5‑D Sonic game slated for release around 2027. The leak cites an unnamed source at Playground Games, but SEGA has not confirmed the project. If true, the game would follow recent Sonic releases such as Sonic Frontiers and the Definitive Edition of Sonic 2.
